Applying to The Gardner School

The admission process at The Gardner School includes opportunities for applicants to visit the School and gain a better understanding of our educational program, philosophy and mission. We encourage all applicants to join us for a school tour, Open Doors or Admissions Event.

The Application
The Gardner School application consists of an application form, teacher recommendations and a request for school records. A $50 application fee is required to accompany completed pre-k and Kindergarten application forms. For grades 1-8, the application fee is $100.

Applications are accepted throughout the year for classes where space is available. Upon receipt of the application form, a student visit and informal assessment will be scheduled. Following this visit an enrollment decision is taken by the Head of School.

Once this enrollment decision is taken, a formal letter of acceptance, including an Enrollment Contract is sent to the parents/guardians.

To confirm enrollment, a deposit of 10% of the tuition must be returned with the signed contract.

The Gardner School admits students of any race, color, gender, sexual orientation including gender expression or identity, religion and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The Gardner School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation including gender expression or identity, religion and national or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship or financial assistance programs and other school-administered programs.
