Buddies – More than just fun!

127 days ago by Mark

The structured and regularly scheduled buddy program that we have at the school is one of the highlights of the week for many of our students. It allows students to work across the grades, develop relationships with children who are older or younger with them and allows friendships, respect and mutual understandings to flourish across the school. It is more than a fun experience – it is purposeful learning that allows us to further our mission and engage students as learners and experts, developing the kind of skills that they will need to draw on with ease as they move through life. The pictures tell the story – a wide ranging set of experiences, engaged students and self directed learning.
