Lisa Linderman

Director of Campus Operations

Lisa grew up in Vancouver, where she spent her after school hours with the drama club and her summers at OMSI science camps. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington and her Masters in Teaching from Seattle University, where the curriculum was rooted Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. She has worked with diverse populations of students from preschool through 8th grade, including highly capable middle school students and elementary students with behavioral challenges. Outside the education arena, she spent her last years in Seattle doing technical support for a web design firm and at Microsoft as a software tester. After returning to Vancouver she spent a number of years as the Human Resources administrator at a retirement community in East Vancouver.

Lisa enjoys learning anything someone wants to teach and is always looking to add new skills and knowledge. She spends her spare time baking, reading, gardening, writing, and working on a variety of arts and crafts. She is a certified Master Gardener, Master Food Preserver, and she taught CPR and First Aid for over a decade. She’s an unabashed “nerd”, with a lifelong love of science fiction and fantasy, tabletop and video games, and comics.

She lives in Battle Ground in a household which includes four adults, three cats, a flock of chickens, two bunnies, and the occasional spider.
