Shana Armstrong
Administrative Assistant
Shana comes to Gardner School with 25 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities as an early childhood teacher, paraeducator, administrator, and active volunteer.
Most recently, Shana was a part of the 123 Grown and Learn team, as a facilitator at ESD 112. As a team member, she helped plan and lead group activities, assisted caregivers with developmental resources, and provided yearly screenings to provide early intervention. Shana’s favorite part of her work is the connections she builds with staff, children and families. She enjoys working with people, a fast-paced environment and any chance to be creative.
A lifetime Clark County resident, Shana lives with her family in Vancouver, along with their Great Pyrenees, Dakota; cat, Ash; and several chickens. Shana loves art, insects, nature and music, especially live concerts. In her free time, you can find her in her garden, hiking and traveling. She also loves spending time with her husband and two teens, thrifting and trying new food.
