Gardner School Book Swap

This year, the Gardner School is trying something new- a book swap! This alternative to a commercial book far has several benefits, and we think it will be a wonderful way to promote reading and sustainability in our community. We are encouraging you to invite your friends and neighbors for this fun activity on a day that the local districts have off, too. We'll have books for all ages, preschoolers to parents.

We will be accepting gently used books for the book swap. You can bring them to school ahead of the swap, or come with them on October 14th. Do you have some items that looking a little rough around then edges? No problem! We are also accepting books for thoughtful recycling and repurposing.

On Friday, October 14th, join us in the Great Room for a mega book shopping opportunity. Each visitor can choose up to 10 new-to-them books from the book swap. We'll have you check in and check out to track how many books are swapped during the fair. You don't need to have donated books to receive books.

Tell your sports teams, business colleagues, and neighbors about the event. Show a friend around campus while you're here, and stay a little extra to play in the wetlands, explore the garden, or enjoy the playground. We will have a coffee truck on campus with beverages available for purchase, a perfect pairing with a good book!
