Our Animal Studies project invited students to explore the unique characteristics that make each animal recognizable while experimenting with a range of artistic techniques. Each student selected a favorite animal as the inspiration for a small, expressive artwork featured in our mini exhibition of beloved creatures. Using layered cutouts and splatter paint, artists emphasized negative space to create dynamic compositions. To complete their pieces, students crafted small gilded frames, transforming each artwork into a miniature gallery display that celebrates both creativity and the beauty of the animal world.
